Here it is…what a beautiful ceremony set under a gorgeous grove of oak trees. Only in the hill country…sigh!
The band were good friends of the bride and groom.
Rachel’s dad was so cute…waiting for his little girl to come down those stairs. You could see the love and pride in his face.
You can just feel everyone’s excitement and joy!
It just melts my heart when I see grooms are so in love with their brides.
They had a beautiful ceremony. Instead of the unity candle they mixed red and white wine. And the minister read from Rachel’s grandmothers bible which has been in their family for over 50 years and has been read at all their family weddings. Her grandmother writes the date and who was married on the inside cover for each wedding…and will add Rachel and Phillip next to this very cool family record.
Their friend, Sara Overall, had wrote a song and performed it during their ceremony. It was beautiful and personal, everything I love about great weddings.
Next…its bride and groom picture time! I can’t stress enough how important it is to carve out a good chunk of time for bride and groom portraits!
Now….lets go party! Seriously…their reception was awesome!
Check the details!
Check out the little flower girls face…she just thinks Rachel and Phillip and Cinderella and Prince Charming!
The food was incredible…it was a pasta bar. You could choose…chicken, shrimp or sausage…then you chose your fixin’s …sun dried tomatoes, grilled peppers, roasted vegetable, mushrooms, sautéed spinach…it was all there! Finally you picked your pasta…linguini or penne and the sauce, marinara or alfredo! Yummo!!! Everyone got what they wanted.
And then it was time to Dance! This couple embraced Austin’s wonderful music scene with both a awesome DJ and band. This was such a fun party and I know all of their guests were enjoying the event. A few of the bridesmaids sand along with the band during the first dance. Phillip even sang a little number for his sweetheart. What a night to remember…these two know how to entertain!
Finally, the exit through the bubbles…I know Rachel was super excited about running through this scene…it fit her personality to a T.
Congratulations you two! It was such an honor and pleasure being a part of this momentous day. May you both have a lifetime of love and laughter ahead! Big hugs to you both!
