Lucky for us the rain held back for our engagement shoot. I had a great time getting to know Jackie and John a bit better during our shoot and absolutely love the shots we caught in our little short jaunt around town lake, especially the ones on the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge. Something you may not know about me is that in my former career life I was a landscape architect and worked on projects such as this one. It helps to have a keen design eye and understanding of environment being a photographer. But it also means I geek out on modern design elements and the gorgeous wood railing along this bridge.
