Last week I photographed Ashley and Micheal’s wedding at horseshoe bay. It was a tough wedding, very tough. I adore this couple and was so honored to be there for them, but when I got their timeline (which normally I have my hands in way early)…I was like…oh boy, this is going to be hard. There was a lot going on, a lot behind the scenes, and pressure to get the couple back to the reception to mingle with all these important people in their lives whom traveled from afar to be there and celebrate with them. And while my body is still recovering this week, its all worth it when I saw this image.
So imagine the wedding chaos, and then look at this image. I love brief moment of peace and joy in this photograph. The light couldn’t have been more heavenly, more beautiful, more ‘golden delicious’ as i like to call it. And this couple couldn’t be more in love.
More of their wedding to come in a few weeks, but I just had to share this one frame for now.
