Amanda and John are a photographer’s dream client: stylish, relaxed and extremely kind. When we working on their pre-wedding consultation they wrote to me: “We just want you to feel comfy taking artsy, non-traditional photos that you feel capture the moments in the best way.” Wow! Boy, did that make me want to the absolute best job in the whole wide world. Its great when I have clients who are encouraging and supportive. So big hugs and thanks!
I could feel the love from their family and friends as these celebrated their love. It was such an incredible special day at the Wildflower Center. John and his groomsmen sported a great look: Converse with green checkered socks and matching bow ties. No pinchy shiny tux shoes for this crew.
Amanda’s dress is one of my favorites of the season (okay I have a lot of those I know…but hers was beautiful). Raw silk, and definitely truly unique. She got it at Unbridled…love that store!
Isn’t she gorgeous. I remember when John’s best man first saw Amanda…his was speechless and nearly in tears. I couldn’t wait for John to see her!
And I love those shoes!!!
This was such a beautiful way to display place cards. The guest were each given a little succulent plant to take home.
Okay, this deserves a special explanation. And that is John has the BEST ‘Can’t Touch This‘ dance I have ever seen. It was hilarious.
The party carried on well after the reception ended at the Wildflower center…but here is a nice shot of a last dance with the bride and groom.
A big congratulations!
