Q. Describe your decor and how you chose it?
My decor was traditional and elegant. Wanted to make a statement, but still keep it tasteful.
Q. What was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?
I would have to say having so much fun and seeing my niece have the time of her life at the reception. Everyone kept commenting that they had such a great time, which was the best compliment we could receive.
Q. What was your favorite image from your wedding day?
There was quite a few of Blake and I kissing that I really enjoyed, kind of laughed to myself and thought did we make out the whole night?!
Q. Do you have any tips to share with other couples?
Just enjoy it, don’t stress over the small things and eat your cake!
Q. How did you choose your venues: the Four Seasons?
When we saw the outside lawn and with it being on the lake it was a no brainer, we just fell in love with the space.
Q. Tell me about your attire – who designed your dress and where did you buy it?
My dress was Calla Blanche which I purchased at Alexia Gavela and honestly I was sad when my dress was finished because I loved visiting the store, everyone who works there is so kind and fun to work with.
Q. What shoes did you choose and what jewelry did you wear?
I wore sparkly Jimmy Choo heels, wanted to add a little spice to my dress and they were the perfect match. I wore diamond stud earrings and a diamond studded tennis bracelet that were both my grandmothers, which made me feel extra special.
Q. Who designed the bridesmaids dresses?
The bridesmaid dresses were a huge hit, because a dress the ladies can actually wear again and one that I want to borrow as well! They were designed by Vince Camuto.
Q. And your groom – tell me about his look – who was his suit designer? Any other significant accessories?
Blake’s suit was Calvin Klein and he made the look even more elegant with a pink pocket square and his aggie cuff links.
Q. Why did you choose me, Jenny, to be your wedding photographer?
Kind of funny actually when I saw that you were also an Aggie and your specialty was sunset photos, made it very easy to choose!
Q. Did any of your other vendors go above and beyond for you?
David Kurio made the wedding, the flowers were over the top and just made the evening magical. Also, Becky with Pearl Events made the day stress free for us and was on point with making everything run smoothly.
