Jason & Alessandra’s Garden Chic Wedding at Laguna Gloria
Some celebrations linger in the memory long after the last song has played—Jason and Alessandra’s wedding was one of them. Their black-tie garden affair at Laguna Gloria was an effortless blend of refinement and joy, each moment thoughtfully designed yet bursting with spontaneity.
A Love Rooted in Connection
Jason and Alessandra’s relationship began on Hinge, a modern start to what quickly became something enduring. Bonded by a love of travel, great food, and meaningful conversations, they built a foundation that led to a rooftop proposal against the NYC skyline. Their wedding was a reflection of that connection—warm, dynamic, and deeply personal.
A Setting That Felt Like A Dream
Laguna Gloria’s European-inspired gardens created a natural backdrop that felt like an escape. The chuppah, covered in a cascade of bright florals, stood out against the green, a bold and romantic statement. The reception felt like a scene from an intimate celebration on the shores of Lake Como—tables dressed with lace runners, untamed blooms, and candlelight flickering against the water.
One of the most personal touches was Jason’s custom kippah, embroidered with the phrase “I love you so much” from Austin’s beloved Jo’s Coffee shop. A nod to the city where they built their life together, it was a meaningful detail woven into their traditional Jewish ceremony.
Style With Personality
Alessandra’s gown was a study in craftsmanship—delicate floral appliqué over sheer layers, a silhouette that felt both modern and timeless. Jason opted for a double-breasted tuxedo, a choice that suited the evening’s elevated aesthetic. After the formalities, Alessandra slipped into a crystal-studded party dress and white sneakers, ready for what would be an unforgettable night.
An Evening That Took on a Life of Its Own
Cocktail hour set the tone, with guests sipping Sanje Spritzes—Aperol, prosecco, soda, and edible flowers—as they mingled under the soft glow of string lights. The escort card display, adorned with fresh blooms for each guest, became an art installation in itself, seamlessly blending into the floral-forward aesthetic.
When the dance floor opened, the energy in the tent was undeniable. Jason led the way, tie undone, surrounded by friends and family who weren’t ready for the night to end. A DJ flown in from New York kept the momentum going, blending beats with live saxophone and trumpet, transforming the space into something reminiscent of an underground music club. The atmosphere was electric—no one wanted to leave.
A Wedding That Will Be Talked About for Years
As a photographer, there are weddings where the energy is so palpable that you forget you’re working—this was one of them. I was meant to leave after an hour of dancing, but I stayed until the last song. The heat, the movement, the collective joy—it was something you could feel in every frame.
Jason and Alessandra, it was an honor to capture this day. Wishing you a lifetime of good food, great music, and nights that never end.
