Chic Houston Wedding Reception at Le Tesserae

Bailey and Alton’s Houston wedding reception at Le Tesserae was designed as a true celebration. Rich florals, layers of color, fashion, music and a room packed with friends gave the evening its own distinct personality.

The celebration was planned by Pearl Events Austin, with Becky Pearl, who brought together a large creative team for the Houston reception. The result felt polished without being overly formal, with plenty happening visually while still leaving room for the people and the party to take center stage.

A Houston Reception Built Around the Party

Bailey and Alton had already celebrated their wedding ceremony earlier in the year, so their December reception in Houston could be something entirely different. Many of Bailey’s friends were already traveling to Houston for an international shooting event that weekend, making it the perfect opportunity to gather everyone together for another celebration.

The reception leaned into that energy. Guests filled the room, the Houston skyline became part of the backdrop, and the evening was designed around spending time together rather than recreating a traditional wedding day.

Bold Florals and Statement Design

Inside Le Tesserae, saturated florals brought color throughout the space. Floral installations framed the room, tables were layered with rich tones, and even the smaller details carried the same visual confidence.

Bailey gave the creative team room to work, particularly when it came to the floral design, and the finished reception went well beyond what she initially imagined. Planner Becky Pearl and the Pearl Events Austin team kept all of those moving pieces connected while working with Remi + Gold, Provision Events Texas, Nuage Designs and the rest of the vendor team.

Fashion, Music and a Very Good Houston Party

Bailey’s reception look brought another layer of personality to the evening, with fashion playing just as important a role as the decor.

And music was never going to be an afterthought. Bailey spent years working in music and described the programming as one of her biggest priorities for the Houston reception. Live performances, a packed dance floor and late night entertainment made the reception feel less like a formal sequence of events and much more like the party Bailey and Alton wanted their friends to experience.

Houston Wedding Photography at Le Tesserae

Le Tesserae gave us so much to work with photographically. The city views, layered reception design, dramatic florals and constant guest activity created a gallery that feels distinctly Houston.

And because Becky Pearl and Pearl Events Austin built such a strong team around Bailey and Alton, there was space to photograph both the design and the unscripted moments happening around it. Those are always the photographs that make a reception feel alive again later.

Their Ranch Wedding in Vance, Texas

Bailey and Alton’s Houston reception was only one part of their wedding celebration. Earlier in the year, they were married at the family ranch near Vance, Texas, in a setting that felt much more intimate and personal. The ranch has deep meaning for Bailey and her family, and it gave the wedding day a completely different atmosphere than the December celebration in Houston.

Together, the two events felt very true to them. The ranch wedding centered on family, place, and the people closest to them, while the Houston reception gave them the chance to gather an even larger group of friends for a full evening of music, fashion, and celebration.
