How long have you been in the business?  Since 2009

How many weddings have you photographed? I have photographed over 150 weddings.

Are you part time or full time?   This is my full-time career and passion.

Do you have any formal training?  I have been personally mentored and trained by some of the best wedding photographers in the world and Pulitzer prize winning photojournalists.  I invest a significant amount of money and time into continuing education every year and am fortunate to call the best in the business personal friends.

How many camera bodies do you have?  I carry 2 cameras at all times during a wedding and have an additional 3rd body in my bag as backup. I shoot Nikon professional cameras.

How many lenses? Currently, I carry 6 lenses in my bag, primes and zooms, that cover a large range of focal lengths and also allows for backup should one lens break.

How many proofs should I expect to see from my wedding?  Every wedding is different, but typically I deliver anywhere from 400 to 800 images.

How many proofs should I expect to see from my portrait session?   About 25 to 30

What is your backup system? Images are transferred to a working desktop and backed up daily on a raid backup system. Also, photographs are backed up to two alternating off site hard drives everyday.  Needless to say, we have it covered as best we can!

Will the assistants and other photographers you hire to help shoot my wedding be people you have worked with before?  Yes, I have a select group of dedicated associate and assistant photographers who whom work with me frequently. 

When can we see our photos? Each image is hand selected and edited to tell your wedding day story.  This process takes typically takes about 10-15 weeks  for weddings and 2 to 3 weeks for portrait sessions. Once completed, we will set up your premier appointment to celebrate, discuss your wedding album and do any ordering. After your premier, images are posted online to share with family and friends for nine months.

What happens if you are sick and injured and cannot shoot our wedding? I have lots of amazingly talented local photographer friends that will come to your rescue! My associate photographer is fully briefed on your wedding day prior to your event. Rest assured every effort will be made to ensure you have amazing wedding photography to look back on from your special day.

How do we book?  To get started, please just send an email to info@jennydemarco.com or call at 512-547-3721 and we will discuss preparing a custom proposal that will walk you through the online booking process. We have many out of town clients and have therefore gone to great lengths to make the booking process easy and convenient. Contracts are viewed and signed electronically online and payments made by check or online for a small service fee.

When is the studio open?  The studio is open by appointment only.  Appointments are available Tuesday-Friday 8-5pm. The studio is closed Sundays and Mondays. Saturdays are reserved for wedding coverage only.  Portrait sessions are scheduled during weekdays only. Engagement sessions are typically photographed 2 hours before sunset. Which means this is around 6pm during summer months and around 3pm during winter months.
