Q. Tell me about your attire – who designed your dress and where did you buy it?

My dress was designed by Austin Scarlett, which we purchased at Julian Gold in Austin. That’s also where I purchased by veil designed by Toni Federici. The veil was cathedral length with French Alencon lace and turned out to be my favorite accessory that day!

Q. What shoes did you choose and what jewelry did you wear?

My jewelry pieces were very special to me that day. The earrings I wore were my something borrowed. They were my mother-in-laws diamond studs that my sister-in-law also wore on her wedding day 4 years ago. My necklace was a gift from Patrick on our wedding day and served as my something old. He had designed the gold pendant necklace using his grandmother’s diamond that she left for him after she passed away. Finally, my shoes were gold heels by Badgley Mischka.

Q. Why did you choose me, Jenny, to be your wedding photographer?

I knew I wanted Jenny to be our wedding photographer even before Patrick and I were engaged. I first met Jenny when I was a bridesmaid at one of my best friend’s wedding in April 2016 and right after meeting her and seeing the photos she took at my friend’s wedding, I knew she had to be our photographer as well. Not only is Jenny one of the easiest, most laid back people to work with, she also has a fabulous personality, makes you and everyone in your wedding party and family feel SO comfortable, and I haven’t even mentioned her unbelievable work yet! Her photos are absolutely breathtaking and at the highest quality. She captures every moment so beautifully. Both of our families were obsessed with her work and we not only had the privilege of having Jenny take our wedding photos, but also our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our rehearsal dinner. We will cherish these photos for a lifetime.

Q. Do you have any tips to share with other couples?

Hire Jenny to be your photographer! The photos were one of the things I cared about the most when finding the right vendors and we couldn’t be more pleased with the photos that Jenny took and the beautiful photo albums that she has created for us afterwards. The wedding day will come and go but these photos are going to last forever!
