Jewish Wedding Photography with Heart, Heritage & Meaningful Moments

A Thoughtful Documentary Approach to Jewish Weddings in Austin, Houston, and Beyond

Jewish weddings are a beautiful symphony of tradition, community, and deeply personal rituals — and they deserve to be photographed with care, intuition, and reverence.

Every Jewish wedding I’ve photographed has had its own rhythm — a blend of heartfelt tradition, joyful celebration, and moments that linger long after the last dance. I’m always honored to document such a meaningful day, and a few personal favorite moments have stood out over the years:

  • I love how both parents walk the bride and groom down the aisle. It’s such a powerful symbol of family and unity, and I’ve often captured emotional moments as parents hand over the signed ketubah — a heartfelt gesture symbolizing the beginning of a new household.
  • One of the most beautiful parts of the ceremony is the circling tradition. Watching a couple circle each other before stepping beneath the chuppah always gives me chills. There’s a quiet intimacy in those moments — I often catch them exchanging sweet glances, the bride’s dress trailing behind her in a way that feels almost cinematic.
  • And of course, the dance floor. Jewish weddings are some of the most spirited I’ve ever photographed — all ages dancing, arms lifted, music pulsing, and pure joy radiating from every corner of the room. The energy is infectious.

Whether it’s the sacred stillness beneath the chuppah or the uncontainable joy of the horah, we approach each Jewish wedding with an eye for nuance and a heart for storytelling.

With over 15 years of experience photographing multicultural and interfaith weddings, I bring a thoughtful, documentary-driven perspective that allows couples to remain fully present — while knowing every layered detail is being beautifully preserved.
