An Intimate Tented Wedding at a Private Austin Residence

Kirsten and Jeff chose two places with deep personal meaning for their Austin wedding. As longtime supporters of Community First! Village, they held their ceremony inside Unity Hall, with the organization’s founder officiating. Barton Strings filled the room with classical music before the couple recessed to a playful rendition of “Marry You” by Bruno Mars.

After the ceremony, guests continued to Kirsten and Jeff’s private residence on Balcones Drive. Brock + Co. Events transformed the backyard with a custom tent designed for an intimate dinner party. Warm lighting and layered florals made the celebration feel polished without losing the welcoming atmosphere of gathering at home.

The reception included a dedicated gentleman’s lounge with a whiskey bar and cigars. Later in the evening, Kirsten and Jeff surprised their guests by leading everyone downstairs for their first dance, followed by a full dance floor with music by Drywater Band.

Late-night tacos, passed coffee and individual cakes from Simon Lee Bakery closed out a wedding that felt personal to Kirsten and Jeff at every turn. Their celebration was a beautiful example of how a private residence can become an elegant setting while still feeling unmistakably like home.
